I am a fully qualified, experienced integrative counsellor and a member of the BACP. As a member of the BACP, I adhere to the BACP ethical framework.
I offer a safe space for you to talk and explore anything that you need to work through to help you in life.
Together, we can explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions to enable you to find solutions that suit you as a unique individual.
If you are feeling anxious, depressed, having relationship issues, bereavement or going through any other life problems, talking helps.
I am rooted in a Person Centred Theory integrated with CBT and Psychodynamic counselling along with various other theories.I am also integrating coaching into my practice to help you focus on future goals and what changes may be needed to enable this.
I aim to use these theories to find what works best for you as a unique individual. We can explore the present, your past and how this can help you become the best version of yourself.
I offer a FREE 15 minute telephone call to see if we want to work together.
I work with adults over 18 years of age. I do not offer couples therapy.

You may be finding that something in your life no longer feels quite right, even if you cannot easily explain why. Perhaps you feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected or stuck in patterns that keep repeating. You may be carrying the impact of past experiences, struggling in your relationships or questioning who you are and what you want.
Whatever has brought you here, welcome. I work with adults experiencing a range of difficulties, and you do not need to arrive with a clear explanation of what is wrong. We can begin with what you are noticing and work from there.
Alongside talking therapy, I offer an embodied approach called Pesso Boyden Psychomotor psychotherapy. This approach may help if you understand your patterns but still find yourself stuck in them, particularly when attachment trauma or difficult early relationships continue to shape how you feel about yourself, relate to others or respond to the demands of work. This might show up as procrastinating or struggling to finish what you start, holding back in meetings or from opportunities despite your ability, feeling overwhelmed by responsibility, or finding it difficult to trust, feel secure and maintain close relationships; the work can help you feel more secure in yourself, more confident in your choices and freer to move forward.
I am a BACP registered therapist, and my approach is relational, which means that the relationship between us matters. I work with warmth, honesty and curiosity, helping you make sense of your experience.
My background spans psychotherapy, science and education. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in education and leadership. I now combine private practice with teaching on counsellor training programmes.
I offer in-person and online sessions with adults aged 18+. Get in touch if you would like to find out more about how we might work together.

I'm a humanistic/person-centred counsellor with experience supporting individuals across the third sector and in private practice. My work is centred on offering a calm, non-judgemental and a ‘human to human’ space, where clients can talk through events from the past, difficult situations in the present, or anxieties about the future.
My approach is compassionate and supportive; I place mine and my client's relationship at the forefront which I believe allows the barriers we all hold to be placed aside. This enables people to be truly open and honest about who they are, and to see more clearly the strength and resilience underneath. Sometimes there is no ‘fix’ for what we experience, but talking it through can help give perspective. I am passionate about walking alongside clients and being a warm, supportive presence, encouraging them to find a way through themselves.
I have years of experience working with a wide range of clients and presenting issues like (but not limited to) grief, trauma, adverse childhood experiences, relationship issues, anxiety and depression. I work for a charity called YCS that provides low-cost counselling and funded counselling for Victim Support, I am also a bereavement counsellor for the award-winning mental health and wellbeing charity Platfform Wellbeing.
I am a member of NCPS and adhere to their ethical framework for counselling. I also attend regular workshops to further my knowledge and understanding, I also attend ongoing regular supervision.
